Christian County Fundraisers

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Illinois Capital Region, Christian County Branch hosts fundraising events throughout the year. All of the money raised from these events stays in Christian County and helps support our Community-Based and School-Based mentoring programs. Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2010 was held Friday, February 26th at The Olde Bowl in Taylorville. Thanks to our sponsors, volunteers and bowlers who helped raise $14, 814 for our Christian County mentoring programs. Check back here for 2011 information.

"Pigs For Kids” Battle of the Bars. Congratulations to The Hitching Post and bartender Mollie Vangeison for winning the "Pigs For Kids" Battle of the bars, which raised more than $1,400 for the BBBS, Christian County Branch!

6th Annual Christian County Dart Tournament 100% payout + money added by bar & AVS, Food, DJ, 50/50 Raffle, Door
Prizes, Silent Auction and Fun! This tournament has raised $4,583.17 for Big Brothers Big Sisters! A BIG Thank you to owner Retta Loreth & AVS Amusements!
