"Pigs For Kids" has raised more than $10,000 for the children in Christian County! |
During the month of August, various bars in Christian County sell paper "pigs" to hang on the walls to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters' Christain County mentoring programs. The bar that sells the most "pigs" wins the "Battle of the Bars" traveling trophy and a free thank you ad in the Breeze Courier.
Congratulations to the 2009 winner The Hitchin Post for selling $322 worth of "pigs" and to bartender Mollie Vangeison for selling the most paper pigs.
